He described the Saudi League as being characterized by great competitiveness, praising the development of Saudi football, which was reflected in the victory of the Saudi national team over its Argentine counterpart in the 2022 World Cup, expressing his willingness to support the development of the sports sector in Saudi Arabia, and stressed by saying: “I do not care what people's reaction is about my decision.” Here with the victory, I broke all the records in Europe and I want to break the records in Asia. In Europe I did almost everything. Now I will get a new experience.

Cristiano Ronaldo expressed his aspiration to play the next match for Al-Nasr if the coach decided so, and said: "I came to Al-Nasr Club to win and to participate in the culture of the club and the country. My family showed great support for me and I thank the warm Saudi welcome for my arrival."
